What is Snowcare?

Snowcare is a subsidiary insurance product which covers the costs indicated in the policy and arising from an accident on the slopes.

How can you purchase these insurances?

Our products are sold at the Skipass Bureau.

Who is insured?

The owner of a ski pass with inscription « insured ».

Is it necessary to complete an insurance contract?

No, the ski pass or the insurance policy serves as evidence to the payment of the premium.

For how long?

For the validity period of the ski pass or the insurance policy.

What is necessary for the insurance to be valid?

The accident must occur on the slopes, associated with the ski pass. You must call the emergency rescue team on the slopes.

Is Snowcare only for skiers?

No. Snowcare insures any person insured who has an accident on the slopes, including walker and hikers.

How much does Snowcare cost for a day?

SNOWCARE SILVER FOR ONLY CHF 3.- PER DAY
SNOWCARE GOLD FOR ONLY CHF 5.- PER DAY

What to do in case of accident?

  • Ask for emergency rescue on the ski slopes. We need the evidence that the accident incurred in the slopes.
  • Contact EUROP ASSISTANCE within the 10 days following the accident either through email or telephone.
  • Report your accident to our insurer: if any, Snowcare is a subsidiary coverage and we will refund only what your insurance does not pay.

What are the most important exclusions?

  • Skiing outside of the slopes;
  • Skiing inappropriately and dangerously;
  • Skiing under the influence of alcohol or drug.
